Welcome to the home page of Garforth Rangers AFC.

We are a Football Association Charter Standard Community Club catering for boys and girls from the ages of

6 years up to open age football.

Junior teams compete in the Leeds & District FA League, Garforth Junior League, The Charles Rice League, West Riding Girls League & Selby Junior League. 

The club is represented at 10 junior age groups and regularly fields 20+ teams in various competitions.

Rangers is a founder member of the, new for season 2008/09, WRCFA Midweek Floodlit U21 league.

The club has adult sides in the Wakefield & District FA League and Selby & District  League.

 All age groups are run by Football Association qualified coaches. Formed in 1996 the club was awarded Football Association's Charter Standard Development Club status in 2002.

In October 2008 garforth Rangers AFC became a Charter Standard Community Club.

Girls take U11 Shield: Garforth Rangers U11 girls beat Hebden Bridge Saints 3-0 to win the West Riding Girls League shield final.
U14's complete hat trick of cup wins: Rangers U14 boys beat Pannal Ash 3-1 to lift GJFL Challenge cup and complete a treble of cup wins
Deighton Shield success: Rangers Under 14 boys beat rivals Villa 2-0 to add the Barkston Ash FA''s Deighton Shield to their trophy haul for this season.
Open age teams both promoted: Rangers first team take Wakefield League Division 3 title with 2 games in hand as rivals lose final game. A 5-0 win over Victoria Horbury was sufficient to guarantee promotion but Morley''s defeat brought an unexpected bonus. The Selby League side also gained promotion with a 2nd place finish after an 8-2 home win over Kellington.
Rangers U21 League Win: Despite losing 3-1 to Pontefract Colleries in their final league game Garforth''s U21 side clinched the inaugural, West Riding County FA run, Mid-week league. This was a pilot for a concept which should go county wide for next season.
Girls through to Final: Rangers U11 girls secured a WRGFL Shield Final Appearance by beating Kirkburton 2-0.
Kings of the County: Rangers U14 boys beat Kirkheaton 2-0 in Junior Trophy Final
Selby League Side Make Final: Rangers open age side, competing in the Selby & District League, have reached the Barkston Ash Active8 sponsored Final. The match to be played at Tadcaster Albion.
Rangers achieve CS Community Club status: After being one of the region''s first to achieve Development club status in 2002, Garforth Rangers AFC have been elevated to Charter Standard Community Club level.
