Under 14 Boys Season 2009/2010

Rangers U14 squad starts season 2009/10 with many new signings and a new manager in Bill Owen.

Bill has two sons in the team and has done well to recruit some new faces that have strengthened a side looking to establish themselves in Div 3 of the Garforth Junior League.

19/09/09 Friendly

 Wortley Juniors B        : 6

 Garforth Rangers AFC : 5

Playing their first game under new Manager Bill Owen, Rangers got off to a shaky start going 2-0 down early in the game. Lack of communication between keeper and defenders was the main problem but it was understandable with Aaron Owen playing his first game in goal.

Garforth persevered and began to settle as their players began to realise the importance of keeping their shape and discipline.

It was encouraging that going forward Rangers always looked like scoring and when the defensive issues are ironed out they will have the makings of a side that can hold their own in this division.

Goals came from Morrison (2), Dowding (2) and Steele.

The squad trains @
